Our main concern is the special care of each dress, from the time it is sold until it leaves our shop, is unparalled. With our in-store seamstress we are able to make all necessary alterations to better improve the fit of a dress. Brides have a designated salesperson that gives them their undivided attention with each scheduled fitting.
Regularly three fittings sare all that are required. If any more are necessary for alteration purposes, they will be scheduled. And ladies, don’t forget… your dresses are supposed to be a surprise. So your fourth cousin twice removed, does not need to see your dress ahead of time (wink).
Corrective alteration: Although alterations are not included in the price of the gowns, our alteration are a very reasonable fixed fee depending on the style of the gown and are not based on how many visits you need for that perfect fit. Once all alterations are made, each item is inspected and pressed and prepared for Pick Up.
Special Orders on dresses require from 10 to 12 weeks for arrival at our store. This does not include the time needed for fittings and alterations. Any orders need in less time than that (less than 10 weeks). Will be considered, as a Rush Delivery and a Fee will be apply. This fee for Bridesmaids, Evening/Special Occasions/Mothers dresses can range from $15.00 - $30.00 per dress. There is a fee on any rush delivered for Bridal Gowns. Each company does have their own policy, which is better understood once a style, its color and sizes are chosen. But, thanks to our large selection and special package deals, most brides do not chose to order. But for our bridesmaids dresses, orders are usually necessary.
Sizes 18 and above also incur an additional fee. A fee of $15.00 - $30.00 will apply and bridesmaids dresses. For bridal gowns the fee will vary from company to company. Back to top |
